Houston High Schooler Andrew Harrison Says he Can Take Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is one of if not the best basketball player to ever play the game. Even at 50 'His Airness' still has serious game. He showed that when he played his stud rookie on the Charlotte Bobcats, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, one on one and beat him.

So you would think that being who he is would garner him some respect, right? Nah--that just makes him a target--one that high school phenom Andrew Harrison says he could beat.

He doesn't just say he could beat him though. For a kid to take out a 50-year old man would not be too shocking--even if it is Michael Jordan we are talking about. No--he says he could beat MJ when he was in his prime!
“I think he’d get a couple buckets here and there, but then I’d start to lock him down and give him buckets, ” Harrison told USA Today. “Yeah, I think I’d get him.”
Harrison, who is going to Kentucky, isn't the only youngster that thinks he can take vintage Jordan. Duke recruit Matt Jones says he can take him too, and predicts the score would be 11-5 (Harrison was a little nicer and gave MJ seven).

Of course it is easy to brag when it involves something that can never be tested. It's not like Jordan can rewind the clock and have his teenage self play these guys. What he can do is give them both a hard time when they play in the Jordan Brand Classic this weekend.
