He barely played last season, but that hasn’t stopped speculation about the popular back-up quarterback for the Jets. Fans want to know–where will Tim Tebow play in 2013?
The former Heisman trophy winner and college football national champion has been rumored to be on the trading blocks for the New York Jets or on the radar for just about every team in need of a quarterback this off-season. However, as far as the team has let on there has not been a valid offer for the 25-year old Tebow.
Seattle is the latest team rumored to be interested. After recently completing a trade that sent Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders the team is in need of a capable back-up for incumbent starter Russell Wilson. After out-playing Flynn in the preseason Wilson was named the starter heading into the regular season last year. He struggled at first, but head coach Pete Carroll stuck with him; a decision that was proven to be pretty wise by the end of the season.
After rumors made their way around the World Wide Web claiming the Seahawks were interested in a possible trade the team has since stated that it is not. Rumor now has it that Seattle is now looking to bring in either Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart or Tyler Thigpen.
That leaves the question about Tebow still unanswered–where will Tim Tebow play in 2013?...
