Dallas Cowboys Need to Take the Play Calling Duties From Jason Garrett

It wouldn’t be an off-season in Dallas without a little bit of drama surrounding America’s Team. For a change it has yet to involve the police in any way, shape, or form. No, instead it’s been about who is going to call the plays.



Since the end of the regular season there have been three different stories concerning the play calling duties; offensive coordinator and line coach Bill Callahan was going to take over, head coach Jason Garrett was going to retain them, and the status quo—it’s being discussed.

Wait. So the team is going through workouts, training camp is right around the corner, the Hall of Fame game just a little bit further and the team has yet to decide who is going to lead the offense?

The issue has been a sticky one around Valley Ranch. Garrett sees no reason for the duties to be taken from him, and has bristled at the possibility that they might. However, if he were to review some basic data he would see that there is a problem with his play calling and he should pass the duties on to Callahan.

He’s too predictable....
