When Big Papi (that's David Ortiz for those that don't follow baseball but are till reading this) smacked a three run homer to lift the Boston Red Sox over the Texas Rangers Thursday night it was just another of the many moments that have defined the career of the Boston legend.
But it was not just any 'Big Papi' moment. His teammates ripped off his jersey during the celebration so that fans could check out his shirt--and its special message.
The big man is having a heck of a season so far. Through 42 games he is hitting .325 with 11 home runs and 42 RBIs. He has even thrown in a couple stolen bases to boot (he only had two over the last six seasons!
So no wonder he's famous as--well, you know.
