There is actually a guy out there that thinks college football should be banned. To illustrate his point he compares the game to dog-fighting (I'm sure Michael Vick's past had nothing to do with that) in that the game is just as brutal (just not to the death).
A writer for the New Yorker has bee trying to make the case. Call it a hunch, but I do't think he'll get much support for his cause. Teddy Roosevelt may agree with him, but that may be it. As crazy as the argument may sound, the video is worth watching:
