When Kobe Bryant Tweets People Listen...or Read...

Kobe Bryant has not been with the Twitter Universe for long, but in the time that he has been tweeting he has grown quite the following (over 3 million). It's understandable too. When you are the best at what you do people are going to what a piece of you even if it is just clinging to your every word on social media.

That much was proven when his in-game tweeting after he was hurt caused waves an again over the weekend when he un-followed his former teammate Dwight Howard, which he recently had more to say about as well as the potential release of Metta World Peace, and what he thinks the team needs to do.

It is understandable that after Howard left that he would be unhappy with the big man, but many criticized him for being childish by un-following him. However, if you listen (read) why he did it--well, it's kind of hard to argue with him.

Alright, well that makes sense.

When it came to Metta World Peace being let go he was not too fond of the idea.

Being a pretty smart guy himself he has his own thoughts as to what the Lakers should do.

Word is that Metta World Peace is pretty much gone, but you would think that they would want to let the franchise superstar have a say in what goes on around him.

So while the fans are undoubtedly listening (reading) we'll have to wait and see if the Lakers brass is.
