Why Tiger Woods is No. 1 and Rory McIlroy is No. 2

To be the best in the world at something you have to be clutch. You have to be able to make the play, sink the shot, make the catch, nail the putt--the list could go on and on. The bottom line is you have to get the job done when you should, but even more importantly when you should not.

Like Tiger Woods does (most of the time), and Rory McIlroy wishes he could do more.

Tiger may not win too many (if any) more Majors, but he is the No. 1 golfer in the world for a reason--because the man can make killer shots like this one at the British Open Thursday that normal folks dream about.

Does it get much more clutch than that? I guess the ball could have found the hole, but other than that-- no!

As good as Rory is he still has a ways to go before he can even think about taking Tiger down--or making shots like Tiger. He tried Thursday and didn't have near the success that Tiger did.
