Seattle Seahawks Give Fans Something to Watch Against Denver (in the first half at least)

Preseason games are not for the fans. They are for the coaches to see who can do what and for players to earn a job. Since fans have been without football for too many moons when the preseason finally rolls around we are often too happy to watch. So it is nice when one or both of the teams playing actually gives us something to watch

Saturday night the Seattle Seahawks did just that--for the first half at least.

The first half was a stellar one for the Seahawks. Russell Wilson looked good going 8-12 for 127 yards and two touchdowns. As good as he looked the highlights of the night came courtesy of the special teams and defense.

First, there was the kick return by Jermaine Kearse for a touchdown:

Like Kadeem Hardison once said, a thing of beauty is a joy forever.

If Kearse's return was a thing of beauty than this fumble return by Brandon Browner for a 106-yards to pay dirt must have super model status:

It is only the preseason so in the end neither play means much of anything, but they sure were fun to watch.

Oh--as for the second half. Well, it was more of what you expect from a preseason game.
