Police Called to Deal with 'Fans' at Matt Schaub's Home

It has been a rough season for Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. After last week's poor showing against the San Francisco 49ers he has the dubious distinction of being the only quarterback in NFL history to have an interception returned for a touchdown in four consecutive games.

Apparently some so-called fans decided they needed to tell him how unhappy they were with him at his home.

Absurd does not begin to describe the situation. Houston-area news sources are reporting Tuesday night that fans approached Schaub at his home and proceeded to rip him a new one for the way that he has played so far this season.

If that wasn't enough--another fool took pictures of his family and posted them on Facebook.

The idiots left on their own before the police arrived, but the team has been in touch with NFL Security and Houston Police. No arrests have been made at this time.

People--this is ridiculous. I am a huge fan of the Texans and its been painful to watch the team and Schaub struggle so far this season, but to verbally accost the man and take pictures of his family?

To those people I say this:

Get a life. Grow up. Start taking your medication. Do whatever it takes for you to realize that he hates what has been going on more than you. He doesn't need you attacking him and invading his family's privacy. If the game is that important to you take up a hobby because clearly your life is too empty.

Football is awesome, but it is just a game.
