Texans Lose Tight End Owen Daniels for 4-6 Weeks

A difficult season just got a little tougher for the Houston Texans. Not only do they have to get Matt Schaub over a horrible case of Pick 6-itus (nasty little disease), but they will have to do it without the services of one of the more reliable tight ends in the NFL.

During the Monday Night Football game rumors began to make the rounds online that Daniels may be out for awhile with some sort of fibula injury. Tuesday morning those rumors became fact when the team announced that Daniels would be out for 4-6 weeks with a non-displaced fibular fracture.

Ouch, right?

The team will hope that Garret Graham can pick up the slack in the interim, but it would not be surprising to see them give 6'6" rookie Ryan Griffin a look as well.

Fantasy owners might want to grab Graham as quick as they can, but if he is already gone it might not be a bad idea to go after Jeff Cumberland. Yeah, he has been a nobody up until last night's game against the Falcons, but do you have any other options? Geno Smith doesn't...
