Vikings RB Adrian Peterson Leaves Game With Ankle Injury [UPDATE]

Last week with a 200+ yard game against Chicago Adrian Peterson became the third fastest running back to reach the 10,000 career rushing yards mark. This week he's not going to do nearly as well--because he's out of the game with an ankle injury.

It happened early in the second quarter in Baltimore.

From Bleacher Report
After taking a short dump pass from Matt Cassell he tried to get around the edge of the Baltimore defense, but was ridden out of bounds by Ravens linebacker Arthur Brown.

There has been no word yet on the severity of the injury. He is officially listed as questionable, but it would be surprising to see him get back in the game.

UPDATE, 12/8 @ 3:43 PM ET:

It could be worse, but this still isn't good.
