Houston Texans Cheerleaders Make Ice Skating Look Good For Freestyle Friday...and Have an Announcement....

As a kid I can remember going to the Galleria in downtown Houston and ice skating. It was really more like figuring out how hard I could hit the wall because I didn't know how to stop and the number of falls my behind could handle (that ice hurts man) than ice skating, but it was the holidays; it seemed like the thing to do. Besides, Mom always bought me a pretzel afterwards!

Now if there were cheerleaders dressed in holiday attire recording a video on the ice...I wouldn't have cared about the pretzel that's for sure!

Like they do every Friday the lovely ladies of the Houston Texans Cheerleaders squad found a spot, turned up the jams, and got their groove on. It kind of looks like some of them might not be super confident on skates, but you have to love the old school rap holiday jam they picked out (a Curtis Blow Christmas I think).

Way to brave the ice ladies! Now about that announcement....

Want to be one the cheerleaders next season? The squad has announced when the first round of tryout will be: Saturday, April 5 at 6 p.m. at the Houston Texans Methodist Training Center.

So if you think you have the moves....
