Missouri Benefits From Questionable Touchdown Call in SEC Championship Game

Auburn is in a must-win situation in the SEC Championship if they are going to have any kind of shot at playing for the final BCS Championship, but the Missouri Tigers are no pushovers. At the half No. 5 Missouri trailed No. 3 Auburn by just a point, 28-27.

However, should Auburn lose a close one in the end there are going to be a lot of people upset over a questionable touchdown call in favor of Missouri early in the game.
On the field I can see where that would be a tough call to make, but on the review the official should have seen the ball shift and move as Dorial Green-Beckham comes down with it. There is no way that this should have been a touchdown.

I get that officials make mistakes sometimes, but I hope that the officials decide to own this call after the game if Missouri does indeed win a close one here. If they don't and come out later saying that it should have been an incomplete pass it will be the gut shot of all gut shots to Auburn fans everywhere.

Heck, to fans of good football. The only thing that could soften the blow would be if Ohio State and Florida State win their respective championship games and lock up the top two spots in the BCS poll.
