TCU’s Quarterback and Head Coach Defiant After Season Ending Loss to Baylor

Some would say the fact that TCU was in the game to the end against Baylor is a victory. Just don’t tell Casey Pachal or Gary Patterson that.

This was supposed to be a good season for the TCU Horned Frogs. At the beginning of the season the team was ranked in the top 25 of both the AP and USA Today polls. After a season opening loss to LSU where the team played well hope remained high. While the season didn’t go the way they had hoped they still had an outside shot at a bowl game up until the last couple games of the season.

When they faced off against Baylor in their season finale at home the game was really their finale. For the first time since 2004 the team failed to qualify for a bowl game. So when the team lost 41-38 in spite of playing what was probably their best game of the season, it is understandable that there might be some anger simmering and ready to explode.

“They weren’t a better team than us,” Pachall said. “Hands down, we kicked their ass on the field, there’s no doubt about.” read the full post follow the link to MVPTexas!
