Washington State quarterback Connor Halliday has been talked about quite a bit following his performance in the New Mexico Bowl--for both good and not so good reasons. During the game he got in to a shouting match with a couple coaches on the Colorado State sideline. Since his team ended up losing 48-45 in the end the 'good' is not likely to get the attention it deserves.
When he wasn't busy barking at the opposing coaching staff Halliday was having a field day picking apart the Colorado State defense to the tune of 410 yards and six touchdown passes. His six TDs tied the mark previously held by Geno Smith (West Virginia) and Chuck Long (Iowa) for touchdown passes in a NCAA bowl game.
