Florida Begins the Journey to the National Title With 67-55 Win Over Albany

A No. 16 seeded team has never won against a No. 1 seed. While Albany did give the Florida Gators a good game there is a reason why they are the No. 1 team in the tournament--these boys are pretty damn good.

To be fair in talking about the game, Florida can certainly play a whole lot better than they did. There is no way that they should have been down for the first six minutes of the game--but when you can't buy a shot, you can't buy a shot I suppose.

The Gators didn't start to take control of the game till the closing minutes of the first half. A 6-0 run over the final few minutes put Florida ahead 34-28 at the half. Albany would get close a few times in the second, but never held the lead again.

Next up for Florida--Pitt on Saturday.
