PHOTO: Gavin Floyd Possibly Out For the Season After Fracturing Elbow

Braves pitcher Gavin Floyd was having a heck of a night Thursday before having to leave the game. Through six innings he had held the Nationals scoreless and struck out six--and he's not a big strikeout kind of guy!

Now it sounds like this outing could be his last one for sometime--if not the season.

This is what his elbow looked like when he left the game:

At first it was believed to be bursitis--a pain in the behind, but not the end of the world. However, an x-ray showed that he had a fracture of the olecranon (which means his elbow is jacked up).

Time on the DL is definitely in his future, but the team will not know how long till the injury is further evaluated.
