Pro-Israel Organization Compares Houston Rockets Big Man Dwight Howard to Donald Sterling Over #FreePalestine Tweet

Dwight Howard knew he screwed up the other day when he (or someone he knew) tweeted #FreePalestine. Politics are always touchy issues, but when you delve in to international issues like he did with that tweet--oh boy.

To his credit he deleted and issued a quick apology, but for one Pro-Israel organization it wasn't quick enough.

The Zionist Organization of America did not see the apology as enough and want to see him condemned like disgraced soon-to-be-former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. ZOA President Morton Klein talked to--of all media outlets--TMZ:
"He should be publicly condemned as strong as Donald Sterling was. Anyone who uses the phrase 'Free Palestine' is either ignorant of the situation or hates the Jewish state of Israel. It's a hateful position."
"Celebs have great influence. When he makes a ridiculously false statement like 'Free Palestine,' it's frightening."
The organization only has about 30,000 members worldwide so unless Klein is able to mobilize them all in to harassing NBA commissioner Adam Silver this incident should disappear pretty quickly.
